Two vintage Akai tape decks - from 1978

Up for sale - 2 x vintage 1970's Akai top loader cassette decks - ( model GXC39 D ) Glass ferrite heads.
Only one is working - the other one is just for spares.
The one that is working also needs a full service. I bought it from Comet in 1978 - and due to lack of use - it now needs a service. When I play pre recorded tapes - the level on the left channel is very low. Also when I make a new recording - it plays back at a very low level. So these two decks are strictly for the vintage hi fi boffins. Cash on collection. Read more
