Advert Description

Vintage 1920's Triang pedal car For Renovation/Restoration/Preservation..We have for sale a rare vintage Pedal Car, believed to be a Triang, and from the 1920"s.

Dimensions are; 32 inches long (35 inches to front of mudguards), 20 inches wide and 17 inches tall.

She hasn't been used for many years, and would be a restoration/renovation/preservation item, and is not useable in its present condition.

Please do study the photos for an accurate picture of her condition. More photos can be sent on request.

The car has had two owners from new, and was bought for the children from the farm next door,  if they were still alive, the youngest would have been almost 100 now.

Many years ago, the car changed hands and moved quarter of a mile down the stone road to our farm, where it was used then put into a old barn.

We were going to renovate it for my children but missed, they are now in their mid thirties! I kept it thinking we would again renovate for the grandchildren, but that didn't happen either and my grandson is now far too big for it.

It seems from comments made by the ' experts' and collector's in the Pedal cars group on Facebook, that its possibly a 1920's UK Triang car (we are in Lancashire, UK), which means both the age and manufacturer seem right with what we we always told.

From what folk have said, I feel she should be sold to someone with the love and passion to restore her , or indeed preserve her.

She is extremely rare, and I am not in a hurry to part with her , considering she has spent nearly 100 years living around here .

Viewing welcome at Eagland Hill near Pilling in Lancashire,

Thank you.
