WW2 Cut Away Military Artifact

An interesting cut away genuine WW2 Cut Away Military Artifact.
There's no stamps or marks but it's British & was used during the second world war. Fairly small in size & it's made from some form of alloy.

In expected used condition for an item of this nature.

There's obviously minor characterful corrosion.

It would make a unique present, or a nice addition to a Military collection & would look great mounted on a piece of wood.
