13.2hh rising 13 year old (2011) black mare.
Poppy has recently come back into work but don't let that put you off, she is nicely schooled, has lovely responsive transitions, good brakes, nice paces, always ridden in a snaffle. She will easily pop over all fences, completely unfazed by fillers, gates, barrels ect.
Poppy is very forward going out hacking, she prefers company but has proven fantastic in all types of traffic, lorries, tractors, Van's, trailers ect.
Hacking alone she can be joggy and impatient to wait for traffic, this is something I have been working on and she is much better, however it is something her new owner will have to keep working on too.
She is amazing to clip and bath, will stand for hours to be brushed and fussed. She is great to catch, load, travel and good with the farrier. She is barefoot.
She is not suitable for a novice as she is very forward going and can be a typical cheeky mare.
No payment plans or trials, you are more than welcome to come see her as many times as you like.
Passported, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and teeth.
