Advert Description

This is a mid to late 1970"s Aluminium framed Raleigh Falcon ladies racing bike designed by Ernie Clements. Like most things in those days it's made in England. This bike goes back to around 1976 and is a traditionally standard sized bike of the period. Bikes weren't bought in bits and pieces in that period.
It has had a total restoration and clean including new tyres.
It has 6 gears with gear change lever on the right hand side of the frame. The colour scheme is mainly red with silver mudguards.
The original tyre pump is still there but I do have a new one if preferred. The seat is also original but it does have marks and a small tear. The chain is clean and in good working order.
The photos show dust but that is all it is, it's been in the garage since it was restored at the beginning of dummer 2023. It will be polished for it's new owner. The bike was purchased from a cycle dhop in Newsrk-onTrent in Appletongate and was well used until early 90's. I went everywhere on this bike in those years as it was my transport.
I enjoyed riding it but I cannot see me riding it now or in the future.
Collection only. Measurements for frame are approx: 21" (53.4cm) in height & 38.1/2" (98cm) in length. The wheels have an aporoximate diameter of 27.1/4" (69cm) including the tyres & the pedal is 7.1/2" (19cm) long. The frame is a ladies step through.
