Cast iron fire inset by Stovax with very ornamental and intricate detail that looks stunning in place. Recently taken out and comes with the gas fire and coals that sits nicely behind the front grating cover or some parts such as the front panel could be adapted to an open fire. Was dismantled piece by piece on removal and I have attempted to reassemble it outside for the photo although I'm not an installer so my attempt isn't perfect but a proper installer would do it right. Its about twelve pieces that all support each other and are bolted in place. On removal I did notice a small tiny nib of cast iron on the back about the size the tip of your finger had broken off, its clear to see where its come from but its not load bearing and will just need a bigger washer over the top so not critical.
If not used inside would make a lovely feature outside against a wall as a patio heater, BBQ or just as a feature alone. It has been stored outside so now has surface rust so will need a light blast clean hence cheap price this rust is a natural occurrence due to the metal protecting itself but nothing that will not clean up.
