Advert Description
One-off and unique best describes her as I have added a masthead (running backstay) set-up to her 33ft mast to compensate for not wanting to use the spinnaker single-handedly. There was another scruffy Crowther International 23 touching 18.7 knots on You tube, I have held over 12 knots through the water on Unity (not club bar speak speed) across the bumpier Bristol Channel! Alternatively, you can dump or deep reef the main and use the blade (windward) inner jib or the outer Genoa for relatively dry and docile sailing.
She has a gas lift boom and one peace stack-pack with lazy jacks. The Laminate mainsail was recently serviced and the headsails are very good the blade inner is nearly new! There is an oversized Lewmar 44 self-tailing winch new 2 years ago at nearly a grand Can be muti used for anchor inc).
The bunks are deep snug and comfortable as are the helm seats (with lap straps). The 4-stroke 6 hp Evinrude outboard is old but reliable. It had a new thermostat and carb rebuild in 2023. It is due for a fresh spark plug and oil change (full synthetic).
As you can see she is fully equipped with a navigation table featuring the ever-popular Garmin 128 (linked to the VHF for DSC (emergency position) or nav check readout on plotter and VHF. She has 2 x 50-watt solar panels with individual MPPT battery monitors, a Clock Barometer, and a Depth sounder. At the mast are a log, colour plotter, and renowned for accuracy 'stow' trail log (Eric Hiscock used the same around the world). She has a super Anchor (roll over circle bar) strong enough for a 40 ft vessel yet only 8 KG.
A twin burner and grill cooker is installed with a work surface beneath when it is elevated. She can be dismantled and slipped together.
She is currently securely moored and neaped in her winter birth. Thousands spent and countless hours of work so ask me why I am offering her for sale now at cost despite having no need, and being in no hurry.
