An unusual ceramic Jug/Vase by Poet Laval Pottery. Le Poet Laval is a commune in France where this pottery is made. This jug/vase is white glaze showing a blue Iris with greenery on each side which is in relief. This particular jug/vase dates back to the mid 90's and has its own special charm, it was puchhased in Chester. It's measurements are approx: total height 7" (18cm), bottom diameter 3.1/4" (8cm), top diameter from edge of lip to other side 4.2/4" (19.5cm), top diameter without lip 3.1/4" (8cm) & total width at its widest including handle and lip 7" (28cm).It weighs 0.262kg. The jug/vase is in good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. It has only ever been used for decoration. The inside on the bottom has a couple of manufacturing blips beneath the glaze. Despite a lot of effort I have not been able to photograph the inside to show that it is white and clean. I think the shape of the vase has not helped with this. It is clean and white and again no stains or anything. It is also dishwasher safe and has been washed for sale. I no longer have space for displaying ornaments so I am looking to find this lovely jug/vase a new home. Postable/collectable. I will combine with other items that I am selling.
