We ONLY rehome within the Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire area.
George is an attractive pony who is suited to a companion home. He is about 7 years old,
and in good health. He does have some special needs, so please read the full advert before applying to rehome him.
He can be nervous in some situations and requires a calm, patient approach. He likes people and is very kind, friendly and good natured, however is very quick and highly strung, he will never be suitable for anything other than handling by experienced people, and is too sharp for
children to lead/handle without supervision. Please bear this in mind before applying to rehome him.
George is available on permanent loan. He has lived out 24/7 in a mixed herd with us, and we are looking for a home where he will be able to continue with this lifestyle, as he does not really like being inside and needs plenty of space to run, as he is a very active pony. Because he is a Native good doer, he is best suited to living on a track system in summer as he easily becomes fat, yet becomes stressed if kept in small paddocks as he needs to live in a group and be able to run and play.
He gets on well with all other horses and loves to run and play with other boys.
We are a small rescue and rehoming Charity, based in Scarborough. George is up to date with teeth, feet and worming.
