Official WWII Civil Defence issue half-inch shelter tool, designed to allow quick and easy self-assembly of the Second World War Anderson shelter, with the 'rat tail' handle providing a ready made pry-bar to assist escape in case of shelter collapse. A true piece of history from this country's darkest hour!
Every Andersen shelter came with one of these - now they are becoming scarce.
