Advert Description
These two used 1 & 5 Leva notes were currency during the communist era and shortly afterwards and are becoming rare collectors' items.
They were withdrawn in 1990 upon revaluation and completely new notes were issued.
Obtained in 1988 when one would take old shirts and jeans from the West to sell to the locals.
Totally different today: even the cops abandoned their Soviet style uniforms and now look like Spanish policia!
THESE HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY SMOOTHED OUT TO ELIMINATE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE SIGNS OF USAGE OVER MANY YEARS BY THE PEOPLE OF BULGARIA AND THIS IS REFLECTED IN THE REDUCED PRICE OF £8 RATHER THAN £10.
Both for £8 with free RECEIPTED postage. Warrington (near Gulliver’s World)
