Large bracket clock thwaites & reed moon phase 8 bell triple fusee clock
ebonised hardwood case this is a very rare 8 bell triple fusee moon phase bracket clock, i have only seen one more for sale in the last 10 years.
The clock movement was fully stipped and serviced 5 years ago the service history of the clock is hand engraved on the back of the dial plate mainly Henderson of London.
The clock was sold at auction in the early 50's the price is hand engraved on the top brass movement bracket £1440 and 5 shillings in 1951.
The
clock comes with the large oak clock bracket the clock and bracket are 4 and half feet tall and will look stunning fitted to a solid brick wall.
The clock was originally in the Prince Albert Hotel Watling Street Road Fulwood Preston the B6241, opposite Fulwood Barracks the original Hotel was Demolished in 1985 when they widened the B6241.
