For sale a Thwaites & Reed of London 8 bell triple fusee musical bracket clock.
made in 1838 serial number 10,000 series i have a email off T&R
after sending and showing pictures of the movement and movement serial number.
Thwaites & Reed being one of the oldest clock makers in the world
The movement is a 6 pillar movement which is rare the clock dial being convex.
The movement was fully stripped down in 2021 and i have the invoice for the work and i have just given the movement a oil in November 23.
this is a quality musical bracket clock.
The mahogany case having the convex brass door and convex glass with 4 matching quality brass finials and four quality brass three claw ball feet.
The clock comes with both original front and rear key and the original movement winding.
I also have the original mahogany large solid carved
clock bracket which is stunning for the clock
the clock is 22 inches tall and the bracket is 22 inches tall the clock and bracket will look stunning on a solid wall being 44 inches tall.
