An Art Deco Hardwood Veneered Clock 1920's / 1930's with a Stunning Look. It does require a little work.

I have seen a similar one sell for £1,203. Its veneer was described as Walnut (so maybe this one is walnut) but it did have it's original workings.

In expected used condition for an item of this nature. It requires a little work. Someone has replaced it's clockwork mechanisms for a modern quartz battery powered replacement. (I can't post the battery). It does work but I haven't checked it over a long period of time. There's a little movement in the long finger when you move it but functions fine on the mantle piece. The nut underneath also requires a little tightening, as it twists at the moment.
Also, some of the veneer is coming away at the back, so would benefit some regluing.

I was going to oil or wax the wood, as it will come up really well & hide some of the stain marks, however, I actually really like it's faded look & colour, so the choice is up to the new owner.

The Brass numbers & fingers look fantastic.

It's approx 7 1/2" tall. The base is just under 10 1/2" by 3" wide.

Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.

Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
