Signed watercolour by Paul Radcliffe titled Road in the Dale

Good vintage original landscape watercolour, professional framed in wood and double mounted. Signed P. Radcliffe, titled Road in the Dales, dated 1975 (Paul Radcliffe 1907-1992, born in Stourbridge, Worcestershire). Rare example of this artist painter who studied at Grimsby School of School of Art in 1927, and then Central School of Arts and Crafts. He was a founder-member of Saddleworth Art Group and appeared in it's show at Woodlands Art Gallery in 1973, among other exhibitions. His work is in many public art collections and museums. Frame size 617mm x 521mm, picture size 457mm x 347mm. Purchased at local auction many years ago, good condition. From smoke free house.
