Due to current loaner moving on, I have a 12.3 gypsy cob gelding available to part share. He is a super pony to ride and on the ground. Suitable for small adult (max weight 9 stone) or child/teenager with an experienced adult accompanying.
He hacks happily, alone or in company and is great in traffic. He is happy on the lead rein if required or with an adult walking beside him.
Previous loaners have ranged in age from 6 to 15 years and a small adult.
He is great in open spaces and has never bucked, reared or bolted. He will go up a gear with a more experienced rider and has competed in dressage, show jumping and cross country in a previous home.
Leyland court is in hacking distance and his previous 11 year old part loaner entered him in a clear round jumping class and schooled around the cross country and derby arenas. I am happy to ride him over if required.
He loves jumping and there would be the possibility of schooling, jumping and low level competition or pony club for the right person. He is very safe, being responsive and fun, but not strong or sharp.
Kept at a yard in Winterbourne with great facilities and local hacking. There is a school with jumps and we can ride in the fields in later Spring and summer. Lessons can be booked if required with a great and reasonably priced instructor who comes to our yard.
He would be available one day at a weekend and 1 or 2 days in the week. I would consider 2 part loaners so please get in touch if you feel he may be suitable, but you can’t make the whole time or financial commitment. Stable duties on your day/days and financial contribution.
