Old Chinese pot with large carp

Need help from members. My wife took this to a free valuation day in 1971, on entering the shop she was told the potters name, it was his passing out piece, the year, school, and place in china, the only thing I remember was the value 200 pounds. Unfortunately I lost her to cancer in 2007, and all her belongings was given to charity, she was a big collector of shoes and handbags, I think the details she noted down went with them.
