Advert Description

Please feel free to make an offer.

An early Doulton Lambeth tobacco jar, decorated with impasto stylised floral patterns.

A pretty small barrel shaped tobacco
storage jar. It's decorated in contrasting pale blue & a variety of browns, with white floral centres. It has the impressed Doulton Lambeth underneath Circa 1890's. It has plenty of other stamps underneath.

In expected but slightly damaged used  condition, for an item of this age & nature. Sadly there's couple of tiny nibbles around the rim & the lid has been lost in history. There's some discolouration inside. It might clean up but I haven't tried, as it's in "as found" condition.
I just can't bring myself to throw it away & have been using it for artist paint brushes / pen holder. There's no cracks, crazing or restoration.

Its still a nice functional item that would make a nice addition to a collection & is still functional.

Please use my hand to give you an idea of its size.

Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.

Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
