19 frets.

Tuned in fifths to GDAE, using string gauges 0.038w - 0.028w - 0.018w - 0.012 (wound strings are phosphor-bronze). Will cope with range of alternative tunings, up to normal standard tenor-banjo tuning of CGDA.

Mother of Pearl inlay on headstock with Tonewood logo, and decorative inlaid fret position markers make this a very attractive banjo.

Rear facing tuning gears with white pearloid tuning buttons.

Truss rod accessible via removable cover just above the nut on the headstock.

Neck width at nut: 30mm.

String width at bridge: 40mm.

Overall length of instrument from top of headstock to bottom of resonator: 870mm (approx').

Remo Weatherking standard 11 inch (280mm) diameter banjo head (with textured finish).

This is a very attractive banjo in excellent condition. Very clean with no marks or dents, and all chrome parts display no signs of wear or tarnishing. It has had very little use since I bought it new in 2007, and it looks like a brand-new instrument.

It is a budget instrument however, and would possibly suit someone starting out on tenor-banjo who is looking for something clean and playable at an affordable price.

Comes complete with Stagg hard-shell case, with black furry-lining, internal accessory compartment, and 4 chrome latches. Case is also in very good condition.
