13 year old Welsh section C gelding for loan, 13.1hh. Not for novices. My daughter has unfortunately outgrown him but has had competed in showjumping and dressage, plenty of arena hire and taken part in NSEA competitions. Qualified in SJ for Trailblazers and NSEA grassroots championships last season. A real trier but typical Welsh/ bargy attitude! Vaccinations all up to date, teeth just done, too. Currently barefoot with no issues .
Negative points:
*Can be stressy if left on own.
*Does better having access to field shelter and company at all times.
*Can have moments of trickiness when loading. Generally (and strangely) better loading in my 3.5t box on his own as he likes the space.
*Prefers to hack in company although we have hacked him on his own.
*Occasionally spooky.
*Throws in the odd excitable buck.
*Requires confidence form rider.
*A forward ride
Positive points:
*Gives 100% and really wants to please when ridden.
*Has a wonderful little pop on him.
*Beautiful paces for dressage/ showing.
In my opinion, probably best suited to smaller, very confident teenager or adult. We won’t ever sell him so please only enquire if interested in loaning. Preferably in Suffolk/ within hour of Saxmundham area as would want to ensure correct ‘fit’ for everyone.
