Advert Description

These pews were created from one single pew bought from St Mary's Parish Church in Mirfield
in West Yorkshire. Built by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the Gothic Revival Style
completed in 1871.

The original long pew had the Fleur-de-lis at its end.

I bought this pew when the church was raising funds and reorganising the interior for the parish. I had it reconstructed sympathetically by a master joiner and carpenter in to two bench seats. As you can see from the pictures there has been thought and detail put in to the reconstruction. The Fleur-de-lis is reallocated to the back of one of the benches. It is just slightly loose and will require some attention.

The cushions and thick foam bench seat are currently covered in liberty fabric in a fashion by myself and come with these items they were made to measure for the benches. A recovering will provide many more years of service.

Sold as a pair they currently act as bench seats to my farmhouse kitchen table pictures included which is also listed on Ebay.
