Advert Description

It breaks my heart having to write this but university and work commitments force sale.
Ror eligible.
This advert is 100% honest as Vinnie will only go to the best home I can find!
Good Points:
Vinnie loves to be pampered, would stand hours to be groomed.
He has 3 beautifully expressive paces, would excel (with lots of work) in the show ring/dressage.
He has scope to burn, a beautiful controlled jump, has popped up to 1m at home with potential to go higher.
Ridden by a petite 5’2 female rider.
Wonderful stable manners, I often muck out around him, he doesn’t bat an eyelid.
Vinnie is a relatively good doer for a thoroughbred, I have never had any issues keeping weight on him, he’s naturally stocky.
He is barefoot, good for the farrier, vet, dentist, physio etc, can take 10 minutes to load but travels nicely enough.
Not so good points:
Vinnie is in no way suitable for a novice/straight from a riding school/someone who has taken a long break from horses. He is a sharp, quirky tb who needs a confident and established rider to get the best out of him. He can get overwhelmed in stressful situations, has been known to throw bucks/broncs, can discuss in more detail with potential buyers.
NO NOVICES NO UNDER 18's need apply.
Vinnie can sometimes be a handful to fetch in from the field, like a donkey turning out, but coming in he just wants to be back in bed. Nothing major, throws his head about, bucks on the end of the lead rope.
He is a typical thoroughbred, hacking is not his forte. He is spooky and on edge. I don’t hack alone so cannot say much on this, in company he is better off in the lead. Generally good in traffic but can have his off day where a lorry/bike will upset him so he’ll throw in a buck.
Plenty more pictures and videos upon asking and happy to discuss his quirks in more detail.
