15.3hh 17 year old gelding looking for his next chilled out home.
Duke loves hacking and has helped nanny out young/green horses on the roads while he has been here, he is more woah than go!
He has mainly hacked in previous homes and that is what he enjoys. Hes good in company or alone, good in open spaces, snaffle mouthed and easy to pull up.
Great with traffic, farm machinery, cyclists, lorries ect.
He doesn't need to be ridden everyday and is a good doer, he will live in or out. With company or without, doesn't stress when left on his own.
Duke doesn't enjoy the school and turns into a plodding donkey, however if he is ridden by a capable rider he do some lovely work. He has been to some dressage and did win his class, he was Impeccably behaved and no trouble at all.
He loads and travels perfectly, great with farrier, good to catch, bath, groom, mount.
Please NO novices, loans, payment plans or timewasters.
He is what he is, no world beater and would suit someone wanting a steady hacker.
