Advert Description

Please feel free to make an offer. As I'm here to sell & reduce my collection size.

WW2 US Army Signal Corps Binoculars c1941 by Quality makers Bausch & Lomb in their Compass inset Leather Case.

A lovely pair of Original & unusual US Army Signal Corps Binoculars, from WW2 circa 1941, but please do your own research.

The Binoculars still function well with no cracks or chips. Each lense has it's own individual eye focus adjustment, to accurately calibrate them to the users own eyes. Both the binoculars & leather case have expected lovely age, patina & wear. Both the binoculars & case have their own black & tan leather straps respectively. The case strap looks like new so I expect this was removed & safely put away & just the case & binocular strap was used.

They are marked with:
"SIGNAL CORPS, U.S.ARMY 6E/360"
My eyes aren't that good but it looks like;
"Serial No 16846, Signal corps, US Army 6E/360 Prism Stereo, 30mm Apery 6 power Bausch & Lomb Rochester NY"

The makers name is also under the case lid.

In expected used but good condition for items of this age & nature. The leather's in good condition, as they're usually cracked, hard or the stitching's gone. The leather on the spring sprung front strap has come away a little on the front strap of the case but it still functions fine.

Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.

Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
