A quite unusual small knitted Kiwi soft toy by Hennah Holdings Ltd., New Zealand. It was made in a place named Otira and I think it was hand knitted, it looks hand made. The colour of the wool is brown with an off white fleck in it. One of the ohotos shows a light patch on one side, this is just sunlight. The eyes are black in a white and clear pocket thing, both of these are plastic. The beak, legs and feet are made from yellow pipe cleaners. It has a red ribbon around its neck with the label attached to it. The filling is a soft textile fibre. The approx. measurements are: the body length is 6.1/2" (16cm), the total height including the legs is 4.1/2" (11cm), the maximum roundness is 3"x3.1/2" (7.5cm x 9cm) and the beak is 2.1/4" (5.5cm) long. It dates back to the mid 2000's. I bought it from NZ as a souvenir and also to contribute to the consetvation of the species. I have never washed it but I would rrcommend hand washing if required. It has only ever been kept for decoration as part of my collection of soft toys. It has never been played with or handled that much. I would now like to find it a new home as I am downsizing my collection. I would not recommend it for children under a year old or dogs. it can be collected, it can be posted or I can meet st a reasonable distance. I have other items for sale and would be happy to combine and do a deal.
