Andes Adams was an American photographer and environmentalist, arguably the greatest landscape photographer of the early 20th century. His mainly black and white photos are credited with persuading American presidents of the need to establish the great national parks.
This is a rare opportunity to own one or even two framed Ansel Adams photographic high quality posters!!
1. ‘Monolith, The Face of Half Dome, Yosemite, 1927.
2, Mt.McKinley and Wonder Lake, Alaska, 1947.
Both posters, published by Little Brown and Company, Boston, have been professionally framed in high quality, grey brushed aluminium frames by Gallagher and Turner, highly regarded, bespoke frame makers, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The framed posters which are for sale separately or together (the quoted price is for one poster) are ready to hang. Each measures 90 cms x 65 cms. The frames and posters are in excellent condition, and prospective buyers are welcome to inspect them.
