I bought this Krups grinder to powder my dried herbs as I needed one with a larger capacity than my old Krups (which is still going strong), and this one looked ideal, sadly when i tried it out with some dried rosemary leaves I found that they did not flow easily down to the narrow channel into the grinder part but clumped together, after trying to encourage them i had to give up and it certainly would not work with larger herb leaves, but obviously coffee beans and spices being smaller and heavier would work fine, and unfortunately i cant drink coffee. I did not return it direct to Krups as they require a photo of the part thats broken or not working?!! I'm sure it works perfectly if you use it for what it is made for! I am disappointed that it will not do what i wanted as it is a lovely bit of kit but sadly it is of no use to me. I still have the box and all the bits and paperwork it came with. I do recall that i starred or marked the instructions when i was working out how to remove the grinder to clean the powder from the few leaves that got that far.
