The Ouessant Sheep Conservation Society UK is a not for profit organisation providing alternative registry for Ouessant sheep - believed to be the smallest naturally occurring sheep in the world.
This society is tailored to those who wish to breed good sheep as a prime objective and members will see resources targeted in this area, with focus on education and awareness to promote good breeding and high welfare.
We will concentrate on conservation and biodiversity projects which enhance the viability of this lovely little miniature breed of rare sheep. Ultimately we will be led by members as to objective, but without losing focus of our core mission - the conservation of this beautiful breed of sheep and public awareness of its viability.
Breeding good sheep must be the prime objective of any society and ethical breeding of this Defra categorised UK rare breed sheep is at the heart of everything we do.
