Advert Description
I’m looking for someone responsible with experience to commit to sharing my 22-year-old gelding, preferably three (otherwise two) set days a week while I am at university.
He is a calm, reliable horse with a heart of gold. His exceptionally gentle nature makes him a pleasure to handle and ride. He doesn’t bite, kick, buck, spook, or rear.
Given his age and past injuries, he no longer suits fast-paced activities, so he is an ideal companion for someone seeking relaxed rides. (no jumping / heavy flatwork )
He is very well behaved and despite his age he’s still very forward going and enthusiastic.
I'm looking for someone to give him some love and attention who will mostly leisurely hack him and occasionally do some light flatwork with him (There is great hacking around the stables—off-road).
He had an eye removed last summer but has adapted extremely well and is not fazed by this anymore.
Financial contribution and stable duties are required.
