Approx 16.1 6 year old TB gelding.
Pat is the most loving lad I've had the pleasure of owning. He absolutely adores his cuddles.
Pat finished racing in September 2023. I purchased him from the track to retrain. Unfortunately due to having such a wet winter I havent been able to do as much as I would have liked to with him.
This boy absolutely LOVES to jump. He will jump anything and everything you put him to. Rustic fences, coloured poles, fillers .. this horse is super brave and extremely bold. Please do not expect to put him over a 60 and for him to jump it at 60. Pat likes BIG. He has unbelievable scope and with the correct hand will go onto big tracks! Ideal team chaser or eventing prospect.
Pat is not a novice ride and can try it on if he senses your nervous. He needs a competent rider to continue his education. He hacks well in company, infront or behind but can nap alone. He can jog on his way home and throw his head, nothing an experienced rider cant handle, this is just pure excitement knowing he is on his way home. He's 100% in traffic and absolutely bombproof, not much he will look at. If he is unsure on something he will give a wide birth and a snort but that's it.
To school Pat is very green. His flat work is ugly but this isn't something we have been concentrating on. His real passion is jumping.
Pat is fantastic to clip, groom, shoe, stable and turnout. He is 100% in a herd and equally happy to be in individual turnout.
He loads himself and travels like a dream.
This horse has a serious jumping future ahead of him with the right human.
Please note he is young and still fairly fresh out of racing. He can be a typical fizzy TB. He has never bolted or reared but has put the occasional excitable buck/bronc in whilst jumping/schooling(this is never nasty or to get you off, its just purely excitable). Ridden is a gagg as he is strong.
Up to date with vaccinations. Based in Bristol. Can deliver at additional cost.
