Revox A77 Mk3 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder 2 Track 3.75 & 7.5

Revox A77 reel to reel 2 track tape recorder - 3.75 & 7.5ips. The machine is in working order and all the functions operate correctly - play, record, fast forward and rewind, tape auto stop, VU meters, tape counter etc.


Whilst I've owned this A77 I have replaced the reel motor bearings with new SKF bearings and calibrated it for Maxell UD tape (using a professionally restored Ferrograph RTS2). The power supply delivers the correct 21v and the speed has been calibrated using a frequency counter.

Cosmetically the front panels and case are in reasonably good condition although there are marks and scuffs from use.

The heads have around 4mm of even wear. Read more
