Preview of the first image of RARE BRITISH ARMY WW2 TWO GALLON WATER PETROL CAN FUEL JERRY.

Advert Description

A rare British army vintage steel Valor two gallon dedicated water can - plain top without the 'Petroleum Spirit Highly Inflammable' lettering stamped into it, denoting this can should be used for water and not the usual petrol.
Painted in Service Brown with clear 'Water' stencilling on both sides in white, with original plain brass screw cap, which goes on and off freely. Very hard to find these days in this kind of condition.
1945 dated on the base. Very good overall condition for its age - a few dents and dings but nothing drastic. No damage, rust or holes that I am aware of - would very likely still hold water, but I don't recommend it! Comes as shown.
Great for the collector or man cave - would display very nicely on a period wartime AFV or other military vehicle, or as a reenactment depiction at a show or museum.
Happy to accept paypal and non-online payment methods - buyer covers fees if using the former.
Postage will be extra - I would estimate about a fiver but would need to confirm.
