Advert Description

Vintage Raleigh small wheel RSW mark 3 Mk III
This is a good starter project for anyone who wants to start enjoying the Vintage bike scene.

This bike is in used but good condition, considering it's age.
It has been dry stored for at least 30 years.

It has not been rubbed down to remove any surface rust as some people like the patina effect.

The tubes in the tyres hold air, but the tyres would, ideally need replacement.

The Raleigh RSW was an interesting creature. It was made from 1965 to 1974, as a response to the roller-coaster success of the Moulton Bicycle. In fact, the pre-production bike was shown to Alex Moulton as early as 1964.

The bike has a Brookes shopping saddle that has been re-badged as a Raleigh design.

The bike comes with a carrier rack on the back for a small bag.

Sturmey archer 3 speed gears and a Dynohub / Dynamo hub lighting system - wired in but will probably need new bulbs after all this time.

Has a kick stand and mudguards to keep you dry in the wetter weather.
