Used for a just a few months before I moved house, and now I have nowhere to put it.
There are light scuffs in places, e.g. ring marks from the the head where it has been positioned at different points along the upper pole. It may be that these can be removed with a solvent cleaner.
From Ikea: “RANARP lamps are reminiscent of the past, crafted with details like the steel joints and striped textile cord. The floor and work lamps are heavy and very stable, yet fully adjustable.”
It really IS fully adjustable, you can turn it upside down, point the head out sideways, slide the head up and down the pole, whatever you need.
