SCALE MODEL BUS SELNEC (EX-BOLTON CORPORATION) DAIMLER CVG6

This perfect condition 1:76 scale model is of a Daimler CVG6 in the colours of the South East Lancashire and North East Cheshire Passenger Transport Authority (SELNEC) and displays the logo of their Northern Division.

The vehicle shown was to the specifications of Bolton Corporation Transport which SELNEC inherited when all of the local authorities’ fleets in the area, plus Lancashire United and part of North Western, were amalgamated: largely against their wishes, in 1969 to form an entity based on the London Transport system.

The background building is a prop for illustrative purposes.
