Meet Donny 16.2/3 warmblood. Very talented jumper but unfortunately he's not enjoying that these days. Although physically able the enjoyment of it has gone. Although out in the fields or woods he absolutely thrives and this seems to be where he should be.
He's very friendly and funny. Loves to play with his feed bucket and give you a sideways head for attention.
An angel for the vet and farrier.
Perfect for teeth and clipping.
Would love to find him hacking, schooling and low-level jumping.
He's responsive to his aids. He does flying changes for you and helps his rider out every time. An armchair ride.
Recently babysat a young horse on its first ride up the road and we faced every lorry and bus we could and he allowed the young horse to barge into him and stood patiently.
He loves hacking he does get excited and by this, I mean sideways jogging but after a few minutes he gives up.
When he first arrived he napped a little at the start when hacking alone but a competent rider can push him through and this hardly happens now.
Can be turned out in a mixed herd he's currently turned out in a paddock on his own due to weather. Which he's very happy with.
He doesn't travel well in a trailer he prefers a box.
