Hi, looking for a full loan to move to our field in Iver, Bucks.
We currently have 2 TBs (18 & 38) on 8 acres, with a grass track around that our 13.1hh welsh pony lives on. The other 2 acres have 2 mares on a track and 1 elderly mare (36) in the middle. They all live out 24/7 all year round and are all very happy and clearly it is working given the old ages. I lost my 28 year old 17.2hh thoroughbred back in November when he peacefully fell asleep in his field. It has taken a while and I have missed him so much but think I would like to ride again. The sunshine last weekend helped make that decision. I would like anything from 15.2hh up. We have the ideal setup now for a good doer or a poor doer. And it may make sense if the horse is more of a good doer type as then he can go on the track with the pony as they'll have same needs, but happy with anything as long as they are a nice, kind genuine horse. No EMS horses though as the track has grass on it. Horse will be mainly a happy hacker, we are very close to a country park so have nice hacking on our doorstep. We have a trailer so can go do some fun rides so needs to be a good loader. I like a forward going horse, but at my age, I need safe as I don't bounce any more, so no rearing nutters please, however gleeful excited small bucks are welcome. Absolutely welcome any horse with silly personalities. We love a good character. My horse was such a numpty and that is what I miss the most about him, my daily laugh. Between myself and the other 4 owners there are people on site throughout the day so horses are always checked on. My daughters pony is also on loan and I am sure her owner would give us an absolutely glowing reference.
