MODEL BUS: SELNEC (EX-BURY CORPORATION) DAIMLER FLEETLINE

This perfect condition 1:76 scale model is of a Daimler Fleetline in the colours of the South East Lancashire and North East Cheshire Passenger Transport Authority (SELNEC) and displays the logo of their Northern Division.

The vehicle shown was to the specifications of Bury Corporation Transport which SELNEC inherited and repainted in their own livery, rather than Bury’s green colour, when all of the local authorities’ fleets in the area, plus Lancashire United and part of North Western, were amalgamated, largely against their wishes, in 1969 to form an entity based on London Transport.
