I bought this mare over a year ago to work with for my trekking centre. Sadly I had to close due to family commitments and illness. When I bought her she was a ridden mare but hadn’t been ridden for a while. We have done little bits with her but with having poorly family members time isn’t something I have a lot of now.
Cleo is a gem on the ground and had kids and dogs around her and is fine but can get nervous with new things. Not ridden obviously because of lack of work she is very sharp and so needs an experienced rider and taking back to basics. It’s just lack of consistency but previously ridden on the roads in traffic all good. This isn’t a mare that you can jusy jump on and take out hacking straight away she will require a bit of work but for someone experienced it’s nothing but hence why the price is reflected as if she was in regular work would be worth a lot more.
She really is a lovely loving mare but sadly circumstances aren’t right for me to keep her but a lovely home is a must for her.
