Advert Description

APRIL OFFER- £2.50 A LARGE ANIML FEED SACK
Using alpaca manure as fertiliser is beneficial as a rich soil conditioner. Alpaca fertiliser improves the soil quality and its ability to retain water. It is also good for plants, including house plants, providing nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. It starts out as bean shaped pellets although our larger manure paddock hoover has a strong suction which breaks up most of the pellets into a finer composition.

We have over 80 alpacas on our farm so plenty of manure available which we offer at a reasonable price of £2.50 for a large plastic animal feed sack. Most purchasers order 10 or 12 sacks at a time. We can also deliver large quantities to allotments by trailer or at the back of our pickup for gardeners to share the cost.

As an extra saving, you are welcome to come and fill the sacks by spade yourself. We can provide the sacks. Fill the bags yourself for just £2 for a large plastic animal feed sack. Minimum 10 sacks.

We can deliver most of the time. JUST ASK US US TO CALCULATE THE COST

We have two vacuum manure collectors here and all the manure is collected from the paddocks so it is free of straw and bedding material. We have piles of well-rotted poo that’s over a year old. Aged alpaca manure is light, dry and odor-free. I am told that alpaca manure does not have to be composted before use, however some gardeners specifically request the well-rotted manure.

Gardeners find alpaca manure to be an excellent source of nutrients for optimal soil and plant health.

Alpaca Compost has the highest N-P-K of any natural fertilizer. It is lower in organic matter content than the manure from most other barnyard livestock (cows, horses, goats and sheep) creating a higher concentration of nutrients as well as improving soil texture and water-holding capacity.

By using alpaca manure, you'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you're using a natural, renewable resource while maintaining organic gardening practices.
