5 year old chestnut TB mare, standing approx 16.1hh, she needs a competent rider who can continue her education. she can occasionally be fresh so needs a no nonsense rider with a kind hand. although she is never
silly or unsafe. She was bought as a dressage pony and will excel in the right hands. Potential as an all rounder also.
Came off the tracks aged 2 after one race (too slow). Lightly backed and brought on professionally as a 3 year old, ground work coming along beautifully, working into a lovely contact and learns very fast. Happily pops canter walk- walk canter transitions and flying changes with very little effort. Good natural lateral movement and a beautiful big trot.
Turned away for a year to mature back in work for 6 months now moving like a dream. She had a stress fracture as a result of being kicked in turnout a little over a year ago, fully healed sound and strong but no herd turnout now.
No vices, incredibly sweet and loving personality and eager to please.
Easy to box shoe clip etc she is shod all round and full clipped year round when in work.
She’s an absolute gem and a beautiful little horse.
