For full loan or part loan for a minimum of 5 days. If part Loan then a 50/50 share of the costs would be required. To stay at our current yard in Orsett Essex it has a huge outdoor school, indoor school, lunge pen and some hacking on site. Sorry but no one who has just learnt to walk, trot or canter or just learning to jump, Promise will not be the right horse for you. Promise is a 16hh Dutch warmblood, she is for loan as I have unfortunately lost the passion for riding and competing, she deserves all the love and attention I don’t have time to give her anymore. Promise is currently kept at a lovely yard in orsett essex
Promise is a pleasure to own, one of the yard favourites, she is not mareish or horrible on the ground in the slightest, loves a fuss and a groom, kids walk her bareback from the field. She needs a capable and confident rider who is soft in the hand. She can be a bit argumentative for the first 10mins when ridden, nothing nasty, but with the correct riding she goes like a dream. She does a smashing dressage test but hasn't done this for a while so would need refreshing. Promise loves her jumping. I have jumped her up to 1.10 in competition and she has cleared bigger jumps at home. In competition promise isn’t a point and kick, she needs to be ridden properly as she can sometimes think she knows best as she's been there and done it. She would need bringing back into the show environment with patience. She does NOT travel in a trailer but is fine in a horsebox. I can’t stress enough that I don’t want someone to take her on who will jump every day of the week or compete jumping every weekend. Hacking she is fine alone or in company. In the past Promise has been known to rear, I won’t hide this from anyone as she is a horse and these things can happen at any time. They were not nasty rears and she hasn't done this for about 3 years.
