Jingles 13.1HH 8 year gorgeous cob!
Contract will be put in place for 6 months initially and then extended to yearly. Includes fortnightly visits from us. If this puts you off please dont message. HACKING - this is where our boy really shines. He goes alone & in company infront or behind but does like to be ahead. He will settle behind but likes to keep up. We are yet to find something to spook this boy. Fantastic in all traffic he has looked after my girl in scary situations. GROOMING/BATH/ TACK UP- easy peasy. Loves fuss and so loving.FARRIER - very good and barefoot. SCHOOLING - Jingles knows the very basics & has been to numerous arenas behaved very well.TRAVELLING - Loads & travels alone in a trailer and has gone in company. Settles well with haynet. SHOWING - with more experience I believe Jings would do well in showing. He placed every show we went too but he struggled to contain his excitement in the canter / lap around at the end. He will throw a tiny buck but it never unseated my girl. It’s just his excitement. HEALTH - all in all Jings is very healthy but in winter needs his legs checking regularly as sometimes he can stock up if he’s not in regular work. Doesn’t require a vet and I can speak more detail of this. LIVING - loves being out but equally well behaved in a stable. Can be turned out with both mares & geldings and I guarantee he will be the lowest of the herd! He isn’t bothered long as he has hay! He can also be left alone in the field or stable while others are taken out no stress long as he has hay!
Now for the not so good.. Needs sed for clipping and he will need clipping atleast twice a year for his skin health. Jings grows a very very thick winter coat and as our winters aren’t as cold anymore he will need a bib / trace to keep him comfortable. Jumping - not Jingles favourite. He has been XC for fun and jumped when the pony jumped infront.In his old home in regular work jings was jumping 60cm.Max Rider weight 9and half stone.
