Advert Description
Leather style bound Esquire magazine indexed address book with 39 telephony cartoons - vintage, 1986.
This is described as new as it is unused and therefore is not suitable for description as used condition even though it is from 1986. There is no in-between option like for books.
This is a vintage and seemingly rare and lovely address book.. see photographs for views of its condition. I only see a slight dip/bend in the top of the covers and small dimple on back cover which do not alter overall lovely cosmetic appearance and are barely noticeable.
Front page says published by Alan Hutchison company London in association with Esquire Associates New York, printed and bound in Hong Kong 1986.
Overleaf first page says
"The cartoons are, by and large taken from Esquire Issues of the 1930s"
"Here then are the best of Esquire's telephone cartoons from the early years of the magazine. We hope you enjoy them. And perhaps, the next time the phone starts to ring with annoying frequency, you'll find some consolation in the humor these cartoons provide."
I enclose photos of some of the pages.
Please note that where a page is turned for the first time there may be some shedding of tiny pieces of excess paper from the spine. As it has not been used i noticed this on some page turns.
