This pristine 1:76 scale model is of a 1970s Leyland National in the colours of Greater Manchester Transport which were adopted when all of the local authorities’ fleets in the area, plus Lancashire United and part of North Western, were amalgamated: largely against their wishes, to form an entity based on the London Transport system.

It’s on a route to Bolton and is still in its box and has never been used.
