These are rare Benin Bronze sculptures gifted to me directly from a prince of the Benin royal family during my time in Nigeria. These iconic relics of the ancient Benin Kingdom are normally prohibited from being exported out of Nigeria due to their extreme rarity and integral attachment to Nigerian heritage. However, I obtained express permission via a formal letter on royal letterhead allowing this particular Bronze to be brought overseas. There are only one of these exquisite examples of historic Benin metallurgy and artistry. It was an honour to receive this gift and recognise my efforts in the community. I cherish this symbolic artefact representing the richness of an ancient civilisation.
