A Philip Pullman fantady trilogy paperback set of 3 books prrsented in a cardboard slip cover. The set is titled "His Dark Materials". Book no.1 is titled "Northern Lights" and has 397 pages plus the appendix etc. Book no.2 is titled "The Subtle Knife" and has 325 pages plus the appendix etc. Book no.3 is titled "The Amber Spyglass" and has 522 pages plus the appendix etc. The slip cover measures approx: 8" (29.5cm) x 5.1/8" (13cm) x 3.5/8" (9cm). The 3 books fit tightly into the slip cover. Although these fantasy stories are aimed at children and young adults they are good reading for all age groups. This set was a gift for me for my 71st birthday and I really enjoyed all three stories. The books are well written and easy to read, not so easy to put down though. The condition is well read but still good. No loose, missing or torn pages. The reason I am selling is to let someone else enjoy them without having to pay the full price. They can be collected, they can be posted or I can meet within a reasonable distance. I have other items for sale and would be happy to combine and do a deal.
