Horses must be attended to daily. There is holiday cover etc available.
No Stallions, colts or horses that can't be in a mixed herd happily.
Included is the cost of haylage.
The fields have automatic watercy water back up in the event of a hard freeze.
There is also a sizeable hardstanding area where horses can get up off the fields with haylage or can be used for restricted grazing
We have a small mixed herd between 5 and 7 horses
My current herd is barefoot but i will accept horses shod in front only
Friendly quiet private yard, area for tying up and washing, tackshed, car parking, cctv, locked gated access, The yard has LED lighting and also solar back up lighting on the yard.
DIY only. Fair weather poo picking is expected. Worming programme in place
We have an outdoor school with rubber crumb surface, which doesn't freeze or flood.
Direct access to bridleways which are across woodlands and open grass tracks, great for a good gallop! There is also an all weather track through the middle which is great for hacking in winter.
Track systems often in place in summer
The yard is very quiet
No children please but older sensible teens welcome. You will often be alone so sensible people only please. We are not a livery yard we are a small private yard
The land is surrounded by woodland and farmland so it is great for those wanting a quiet life
