I’m looking for somebody to loan Barry 2/3 days a week. Financial contribution & mucking out if on a weekend day. Kept on a lovely full livery yard with amazing facilities. RH17
Such a sweet horse, a saint to deal with on the ground, however is not a novice ride. He can be very sharp & spooky when ridden, not so much in the school but out hacking. Potential person would have to only hack out with others until he trusts you, as he will spin.
Green & nervous jumping so this would be discussed.
Despite this he is amazing out hunting/sponsored rides, never puts a foot wrong. Recently went to dressage where he produced 2 lovely tests as well.
Opportunity for sharer to compete/take him out to places.
Barry has an old tendon injury, it happened while he was point to pointing. I bought him after he rehabbed and years later has never caused an issue, but would need someone who is conscious and considerate when out riding in deep mud/hard ground.
Most of all looking for someone to enjoy this lovely boy as their own.
