FLORA RACE RABBIT – LONDON MARATHON 1997

The Flora Race Rabbit was presented to all participants in the 1997 London Marathon which was run on Sunday, 13 April. It is a plush soft toy standing about 26cm/10ins plus ears 13cm/5ins long and a little bob-tail. He/she is 27 years old, but still looks like a teenager!

“Runny Bunny” (as we affectionately re-named him/her) is very athletic looking in green shorts and white singlet vest with “The British Heart Foundation” and “Flora Margarine” emblems on the front. All the rabbits had the number “43251” on the back of the vest. We moved house in 1999 and have only just rediscovered Bunny after twenty five years of hibernation!
Bunny has never been played with.
